my 5.4 Is throwing p1151 ho2 lean and p1152 ho2 rich on bank number two

I bought two upstream o2 sensors installed and the truck surges and has no power. My ? is does anyone know what the after cat sensors job and the upstreams job?

 

Did you check the wiring harness to the sensors form any damage? They all read exhaust gas for air/fuel mix to send the signal back to the ECU for tweaking.
