O2 King Ranch
This is a very common thing on most trucks, no matter the brand.
This is a fairly simple fix. You will need a new seal, new crush sleeve, and if you are the least bit uncomfortable with the front pinion bearing, replace it. The crush sleeve takes a specific torque to set it, depending on if 8.8 or 9.75 (yours 9.75). After that, you just reinstall the drive shaft and you are good to go.
I'm not sure was Djf... was saying it needed more work, but that is what I see to be the problem. I may not be seeing something he did, but from my view that is the repair.that is needed. Maybe he can elaborate on what he sees different.
Oh yeah, don't forget to clean it up with some good red can brakleen. Blow it with air as you spray and it will dry up that oil that has accumulated by the seal leak.
