Default Not so solid shift 1-2

This is the first time I beat on my truck like it was a stang. When I floor the gas the truck has a kind of sloppy but tight shift at around 5k rpms. It is quick but it seems to have the feeling of two parts or slop; my positive explanation of this is the initial shift of the transmission and then the transfer of power to the rear wheels.

I have a 120,000 miles and unknown history on this truck. I picked it up 4 months ago. I will do fluid and filter this weekend.

Does anyone else have this 1-2 shift issue? Is this normal?

Yep! All you gotta do is flush the transmission oil, replace filter, add a little bit of lucas transmission oil fix, and if that doesn't work go to autozone and get them to check your trucks computer and see if the crankshaft position sensor is acting up.
