May be a little slow, but wouldn't expect a lot more from a 4.6 when a Harley Davidson will only run 14s.

i have checked through most of the main things it could be but have had no luck...i probably am branded for no maintenance for life on the truck though because when my dad had it he took it in for maintenance and they wouldn't work on it because they found coolant somewhere meaning metal shaving in the block??...or something like that, they said it is a default manufacturers problem and ford would not replace it....so i was under the hood and found a loose coolant hose over the engine so i tightened it and it stop losing coolant. Ill try and take it in, hoping that they will listen to me instead of thinking "this teenager is stupid", like usual.

18 seconds is probably the best you'll get.. I haven't tried a 1/4 mile on my truck yet and I have the 5.4. My 0-60 is 8.61.... So, I'm guessing maybe a 17 seconds 1/4?

I have had very good results with Denso Iridiums and NGKs with combined mileage of approx 50k.
