noise from behind dash
sometimes when my truck has been running for a while, a noise starts being made behind the dash regardless if the ac is on or off.it gets loud then dies down.it doesnt happen all the time but its really annoying kinda like a clicking noise.please help

what type of clicking noise i know on mine my 4 whell drive clicks when it engages behind the dash and sometime it will do it even when it doesnt engage that could be it or somthing could just be getting hot if its running for awhile and tinking a little bit.
