Default New Tires

What sizes fit the stock 16X7 rim on a 2000 F-150 xl. I'm putting on a 1 1/2" daystar level with a 3" PA lift, so I will have extra room. I was just thinking, I would keep the rims I have now, get tires, and save for rims later on.
Any recommendations?

285/75/16(33*11.5*16) would be perfect. Or maybe 295/75/16(34*12*16).

Wouldn't recommend going wider than 4.5"s wider than your wheels so in this case 11.5"s. Otherwise you'll be pinching the tires too much and could cause the middle to wear out alot sooner than the edges of the tires.

As for height you might be able to get a 35*10.5 in there with no rubbing on stock tires. Wider than that and you'll be in your fenders, control arms and front valence.
