New problem, engine check light

2003 F-150 XLT..Service engine light came on and had the code read and it said misfire on #2 cyclinder. We changed the coil pack and the next day the light came on again and it is saying misfire on #2 cyclinder. Any suggestions

When was the last time you changed your oil? I had the exact same thing happen to my 99 4.2L (misfire on cylinder 2). Did an oil change and the light never came back - been about 750 miles since.
