Default New Muffler

Looking to get a new muffler, don't want to do anything else with the exhaust system so i was looking at this Flowmaster Super 44 here: http://www.americantrucks.com/flowma...4-muffler.html

Does it need to be welded or can I use exhaust clamps?

You can use exhaust claps. And might a reccommed a a cheaper alternative. You can get a Thrush Welded muffler for $30 off summit racing and it is identical to the Flowmaster 40 series

ya, i got a thrush welded, very decent sound. Good at idle, nice and throaty when you get on it, but not obnoxious in the cab
