Default New leaf spring or an add-a-leaf?

I've been on the search for F-250 LD springs to replace mine, but I am wandering if just putting in an add-a-leaf would do the same thing for me as putting the F-250 LD springs in. I did find a set of leaf spring off of a 250 LD, but for the price this guy is asking you would think they where made of solid gold. What are the pros and cons of going with an add-a-leaf instead of getting new springs? Can I get an add-a-leaf beings that my springs are laying on the rebound bar as it is?
