Default New heret

Hi, I am new to this forum and need some advice. I have been driving a 94 Ranger for nearly 20 years ,but am thinking of buying a97 F-150. Found one locally, but they want around 6k for it. It is an automatic with a V-8 and only has 74,000 miles on it. It is a one owner and very clean inside and out. The body is straight with good paint and no rust. Is this a decent price, or would I be better off to look for a V-6 a little cheaper with more miles? Anything I need to watch out for on this truck?

where I live that is a pretty good deal depending on what the cab configuration and drivetrain is. Kind of important stuff to determine cost...

Single cab or cab and a half? 2wd or 4wd? Either way, with that low of miles it sounds good to me, but let some others give their opinions. Have any pictures?

It is aF-150XL with the third door on passenger side. It has the 4.6 V-8 and an automatic tranny. 2wd.
