Default New Aluminum Headers?

My uncle said putting on new aluminum headers and getting rid of these ceramic ones would greatly increase my horsepower.... I already have intake and exhaust so I've gained about 20 or 30 but he said it would be around 50hp Anybody done this?

Aluminum headers???? Never heard of such a thing. It sounds like a terribly idea. 50hp is out of the question, totally impossible. Aluminum would make a terrible header material. It dissipates heat, you want to keep the heat in. That's why people wrap their headers, and put ceramic coating on them.

Never heard of aluminum headers. They dont make them.

Did you mean aluminum HEADS!!

That would make you gain HP if you got the right ones.

That's a little harsh. He probably meant aluminum heads.

HE said aluminum over ceramic and since I never heard of ceramic heads I'm sure he meant headers like his nephew said. Aluminum does'nt make power it just weighs less. By looking at his nice looking truck it seems it's a Ford F-150 with a Tritton v-8 with aluminum heads!
