My 2001 F-150 melted the postive battery cable connecter at the battery post. I don't drive the truck often. I parked it indoors a week ago. I tried to started it yesterday. It didn't start. There was as a fairly loud click each time I tried to turn it over. After about 6 tries I checked under the hood. The positive battery cable is duplex and 1 lead had melted at the battery clamp. What happened? what should I check?
