need traction bars for my 03 f150 supercrew, 6 inch fabtech lift anyone have some there their truck?

If you have the equipment and place, they are fairly simple to build. Im finishing up mine this weekend. Im building them with 3/4" heim joints, and tubing. I will put some pics up after I finish them.

well i dont have the equipment to make them...but im sure I could find a buddy who does.

What kinda of tubing and what heim joints do I use? Also what about the brackets to hold it to the frame and axle?

 

I just fabricated brackets to weld onto the rear end housing, and then fabricated brackets for the front of the bars to mount onto the frame. Those ones I bolt onto the frame because I am not a big fan of welding to the frame, makes it lose it "temper", and can crack. Bars are 1-1/4" round, by 1/8" wall. Heims are 3/4" chromoly RH thread.
