Need some exhaust help
So I noticed my truck didn't sound right a few days ago checked it out and turns my muffler is shot. I was pretty disappointed cuz I just had a new cat back system installed 3 years ago and figured it'd last longer. So anyway I'm looking for a muffler to replace it with, I was thinking a magnaglow but I'm pretty exhaust stupid and could use some ideas on which one to get. I want one that will give it a nice deep rumble but doesn't have to be real loud. The current system is 3 in in and 3 in out, if you need any other specs just let me know and thanks for the help. Here's some pics of the old one:

Magnaflow makes a good muffler it isn't as loud and deep as a flow master. Personally to me a flow master sounds better. But there is one good thing I feel magma flow has over flow master. Magnaflow is made out of stainless steel so it won't rust and flow master isn't. I have a flow master on mine and love it. I am worried about how Long it may last though. My second choice would be manga flow just because flow master sounds better to me.

im assuming shape (round/oval) doesnt really matter but does the length affect it and this there anything else i should be looking at or thinking of

Nah man. Pretty simple.
Go to youtube.com and type in whatever muffler you want to hear and what not.
The shorter the louder. Guessing your catback had an 18" Magnaflow. If you want a little louder, go with the 14". If you want the same, order another 18".

No sir. To my knowledge shape Md all carries between brands and types of the brands like glad packs are round and long. Flow master in would go with the 40 series which is what I have it is also the most popular. I am not sure the different types of magnaflows because i have never researched that far into them and have never owned any. I have compared sound and they typically are a little quieter. I do have one more bit of advice thought if to have sync my flow master make a real rumble that makes it hard for people to here me when talking. That can hear me but ices them a back ground noise that is worse sometime and not so bad other times.

I've been a Magnaflow man for quite a while, but I found a deal on a Flowmaster super 44 dual outlet catback for 215 bux. I love the sound, but it drones at 65mph.
