Need Simplest Answer Possible
I followed all of the instructions for testing the purge valve and pcm for a code p0443 and sure enough my pcm driver is grounding out causing the code. QUESTION: can a driver in a pcm be fixed? Like a solder joint or something or is it now toast and a new pcm is needed. If so..... What's the simplest/cheapest route? It's the last f-ing code I have in order to get my car registration smog and tags🤦🏼♂️

How did you determine that the PCM is perma grounding the vapor mgmt valve? If this is true you would have wide open purge flow, run rich AF, possibly even suck in the gas tank. Without those symptoms, you probably have it mis-diagnosed.
Anything CAN be fixed
Is it cost effective to do so is the issue
Failed semiconductor components are pennies.....but a persons time to attempt to diagnose and repair at $50/hr adds up fast.
Most electronic things are not cost effective to try to repair today unless a common mode of failure is known that drastically reduces troubleshooting time.
