Default Need new shocks

Hey guys,

Haven't been on in awhile (new baby, work, etc) but looking to get back into fixing somethings on the truck. I am looking to get some new shocks all the way around. Just wondering what some peoples' experience's are with different shocks. I don't have and lift on my truck and not planning on it in the near future. Was looking at the Rancho 9000's but had heard from a friend that they were crappy...any sugestions would be great or if you have any links for threads on here, not too much luck finding any.

Thanks

People seem to like Bilstein 5100's a lot, and sky jacker shocks. I am on Rough country N2.0's with my 5" lift. Can't compare them to another shock because they are the only ones I've had with my lift lol.

I replaced my factory shocks with rancho rs5000 like what come on the fx4 I believe. No complaints what so ever. Handles mild off roading pretty well. Just some information I had to offer. Good luck with your decision!

At 120k, I went with Monroe Sensa-trac. As close to stock as possible and NTB had a special on them. 40,000 miles later with same ride quality. Heck, it's a 2wd Lariat with no lift kit. Comfortable ride with bed full of loaded suitcases.

I just installed stock sized Monroe Gas-Magnums on my truck about a month ago or so. Definately made a difference. I believe it was $141 including the shipping from Shock Warehouse online.

Rancho rs5000s have been working great for over a year now. No need to get crazy with shocks on a stock shock. A set of gabrial ultra's from autozone will do fine.

Skyjacker 7000's look and perform well. Right now they have a $35 rebate if you purchase 4 before 5/31/15. I got mine at autoanything, 39.99 each with free shipping.
