just had my 99 f-150 on the computer and i need to know if anyone knows what p-0401 is ?

 

The most common cause is a failed DPFE sensor. Do a search on code P0401 and if you have a 4.6 clean the EGR ports in the throttle body elbow too.

 

thanks will give it a try later today.by the way it is a 99 xlt with a 4.6 when its warm and i stop at a light it will die out if i dont keep one foot on the brake and one on the gas. and if i just put it in park and leave it it will die out.
