I have a 2003 F150 FX4 and my rear diff. has a whining sound. I looked into it today and everything looked tight when I changed the oil. After a test drive, there was oil everywhere and my front oil seal is out. Is there also a bearing that causes the whining sound only when accelerating? Or will the seal and the differential actually being able to hold oil cure the whining?
