Default Need help

ok i am changing my altinator in my truck and the bolts are not a problem but im having a lot of trouble getting to the tensioner to take off the belt....... any body have any suggestions on the easiest way to get to it or any advice..... any advice will help

You're not looking for bolts on the tensioner are you? I think it may be a half inch drive with a 2" extension. Should plug right into the tensioner.

I know. The only time I had mine off was when I was changing the head gaskets so I took it off after I had the shroud and fan off. I sure you can get to it without having to remove those things.
