Ok my 97 F150 v8 triton 4.6 won't start when taking a screwdriver and cross in the post at the bottom of the starter with the ignition turned on but not engaged the truck started we been told it could be 3 different things we need someone to tell us which one it is starter relay or ignition switch or natural safety switch someone please help

 

Best place to start is put transmission in neutral and try to start. If it starts then its the switch. If not try jumping the igintion solenoid on the firewall by battery.
