Need help!!!
My truck it a 1997 f150 4.6l scab I have been through the EGR system new EGR valve and EGR solenoid throttle body has been cleaned changed all the plugs and wires and cops and I am getting a p0402 it is missing out when I get it over 2500 rpms and has a little hit of a rough idle the cel hasn't came back on yet but I know it is going to my cats seem to be flowing fine I just don't know what else I can check let me know if anyone can help me out thanks
Check your MAF sensor. My cel comes on anytime I accelerate really hard to get on an on ramp to the freeway and the code says it is a lean condition in both banks from a dirty MAF sensor and it seems to run rough for a few minutes than back to normal. Hope this helps.
I am going to clean the MAF this weekend and hopefully it will stop.

Have you checked the DPFE Sensor, for vacuum leaks, or damaged tubing?..
I know you said you have been through the EGR system.... But greater detail in everything that you have done will help us find a solution...
These links help me to understand how everything should work....

I have not checked the MAF yet but I will look in to that and since I have changed the plugs me cel hasn't came back on yet but it is still running rough.
I have read a lot of posts on her about the DPFE sensor I didn't see any damage to the hoses and haven't found any clogs it said on the ticket I got from my local parts store when I had it put on a scanner "catalyst efficiency low-bank 1 Explanation the oxygen sensor monitor the catalytic converters ability to store oxygen" it has other things on it that I have checked like the o2 sensors are good and i have no vacuum leaks

Ok so I looked over my motor again cause I had to replace my idler pulley and is it possible that my truck would be running that way if one of my plug wires was a different brand then the other 7 i put the matching plug wire on it that matched the other 7 but I haven't ran it yet cause I haven't got the pulley on it cause I ran out of daylight and I'm doing this in my drive way but I was just wondering I have 7 autolight pro series plug wires on it and one motor craft that was on it just wondering if that would be a problem
