Have a 2001 4wd super crew with 160000 miles have replaced upper/lower ball joints, tie rods and still have a rattle in front end. It only rattles when outside temp is below 50 or so. Rattles over bumps going straight or turning. Sounds like a rattle/grinding. Any ideas?

Brakes were replaced with ball joints. Shocks were replace about 8000 miles ago. All nuts and bolts are tight. As far as bearings they seem to be tight. But would temps under 50 cause them to rattle?

Have you checked the sway bar end links, they are commonly breaking on these trucks
