Default Need to find the right nerf bars

Hey guys, I would really like to get some nerf bars, however just before I purchase my 01 supercrew the previous owner was backed into and it ripped the stock running board off of the passenger side. With that I also have some rust on the inside of the rocker panels which I think will make it difficult to mount most of the nerf bars out there.

Does anyone have ideas of custom brackets or who makes a body mounted version?

Thanks in advance

Todd

After market mount to the frame slightly behind the rockers. NFAB is the way to go IMO, But it all comes to preference really.

Ya I definitely like the n fab ones, but I thought they mounted to the rockers too? Did you do a custom bracket, would you be willing to share pictures of such bracket?

Hmmm I stand corrected, they do appear to mount to the bottom of the rocker, I don't like that idea at all, rust or not they are relatively thin to begin with.
