Default Need an Engine (Preferably in Virginia or thereabouts)

Hey everyone.

Im looking for a 5.4L to go in a 2000 F150. Preferrably in the Virginia area but let me know so I can check into shipping costs. Needs to be reliable and miles do not matter. Not sure if I need the 8th digit in the VIN for this year or not so if you also know that it would be appreciated.

Also does anyone know what other 5.4L might crossover to the F150? I know I put a 4.6L in my truck from a Crown Vic just had to swap out the intakes.

Thank you.

Check out Pick N Pull in Virginia Beach. I have not been to this location, but have visited two yards in Rhode Island. They are the most organized junk yards that I have ever seen. They have winches on site for engine removal. The trucks and cars are organized so you can remove parts easily. An engine at your location will cost $179.99. Go to the website and search the inventory. You could also pay to have a parts puller remove an engine and have it shipped to you.

There is a 2000 WS SuperCab Short Bed 4WD truck in East Freetown, Mass. The engine is a 5.4 liter V8 SOHC 16V. The search application for all the yards across the United States on Pick N Pull is called Row 52 I bought a sliding rear window for my F150 from the Cumberland, RI yard. It took me about 1 hour to remove the window from a 2002 extended cab F150. I have also obtained parts for my daughter's and friends car at these yards.

I bought a 5.4 4v running from Johnson's Mustang and Truck Parts in Chesapeake.

I didn't ask about the 2v but the complete/running 100k 5.4 4v was $1700.

A rebuildable 4v was $500.

They are a search engine as well. Type in your zip and they look for a motor in your area outward.
