Default need EKA code for 2003 f150

had all chip keys(2) for my 2003 F150 stolen on vacation...now have a blank non chip key cut from my original ford owners key blank code...this key will access the vehicle and ignition...however, the F150 will not start without the chip..is there an EKA code...Emergency Key Access code...that will help us avoid a tow to the dealer and key programming costs?...: )...thank you

It might be cheaper for you to call a good locksmith and they can program the truck at your home. Most mobile units can do them for you. Dealership is way too expensive to have done.

I might be mistaken but I think it is possible to disable the Pats system and bypass it.
I have a vague memory of somebody doing this one time.

A locksmith can make a copy of a key, I don't know if they can program a key without one. There's some legal issues with making a key for a vehicle that you don't have one for . They're going to want to see proof of ownership etc i think.

Call the locksmith call the dealer.
If a locksmith can do it it'll probably run you about 80 bucks plus the house call.
The dealer will run you about 200 + 50 for key, + tow. If you got out of there for under three hundred you should be happy.

But if you have two original Keys you can program your own spare clone keys yourself in the ignition.

As far as I know, Ford IDS is the only way to do it.
