I thought maybe someone on the forum might have run into this , i have a rusted off hinge cup on the tailgate and cant find a replacement part anywhere.
Bought the new hinges but didn't realize at the time the actual hinge cup that's welded on the tailgate was rusted off. There has to be another type of cup to maybe bolt on but have had no luck yet. I can fabricate the part out of a 1 inch pipe cap but didn't want to go thru the headache. Any help would be appreciated

 

You'd better use the pipe cap idea. The part you are talking about, if I read it right, is the cup in the tailgate itself that rides on the hinge roller (if you want to call it that). If so, that is only available as a tailgate. It is not a replacement part, at least not one I've ever seen. Not even in the replacement panel companies who make repair panels. Sorry.
