Default My Custom Sub Box

Me and my dad decided to take on the task of building a custom sub box for my 99 F150. What we did was make the box so it sat in the middle of the backseat. We put a plexiglass top on it. It is a RE Audio 15 with a Cadence 3002 amp. I made a quick video of it. I can post more pictures of it if you guys would like.

Yeah, get a couple clear daylight shots of the install. I'd like to see how it looks too.

Ya its on a switch. I had them on while I was driving into town and I met this car. The car started slowing down and then actually stopped and pulled over to the side until I passed them. Haha But here is a couple more pictures. I put the amp underneath the seat. Its made of 1/2 inch mdf. I carpeted the box black and used bedliner on the top piece. I scoot the front seats back till its tight on the box. So the front seats hold the box in. There is still plenty of room to fit two comfortably in the back. Also the center console still flips up so you can seat three in the front.

You didn't want subs that fit under the seats? I personally think it looks better under the seats, but like yours, my two 12" subs are too big to fit under, even if i raised the seats so im waiting to buy P3 shallows that will fit fine

Well I already had that sub from my old car. And dont really have the money to buy brand new shallow mounts. So i put this together for about 40 bucks. I may eventually get some under the seat. But I like this a lot.
