I used fishing line on a hot day (mid 90s) then used turtle wax adhesive remover and a rag and it came right off.

One more full Saturday of sanding and priming and the cab will be done. I'm likely going to put the box back on before I tackle the last remaining rust repair on it so I can drive the truck. The chores are piling up while she's been off the road.
Getting closer... i have pics but am too lazy to post... I'll put up a bunch once things settle down.
Next up: find a body shop to do a paint job.

Here you go for the doors.

I gave up being a stubborn moron and did go ahead and left the doors off with everything covered by tarps. No sense in prolonging things now. With a little luck, I'll be ready to put the bed back on by Monday, so if I can find on of these locally it'll make getting the doors back on a much simpler task this weekend.

Alright... current status since I've been slacking on updates:
The rockers are done, filled, primed and look... ok. I also took off my fender trim and ran the primer up over the front wheel arches. The outer door skins on the bottoms are sanded and primed too. The box is back on and I need to start the body work on it (maybe today if I get out of work early.
I'll post a picture or two tonight. My hope is to finish up the bed body work and find a shop to do a paint job by mid-June. Kids' activities are winding down, so I should be able to pound this out.
I need to decide if I want to lose the fender trim or keep it. I'd have to fill the holes, though, and I know that will definitely lead to imperfections and make it look worse than intended. The stock trim needs to be sanded and painted... it's rough too.

I would sand the factory flares and reapply them. Just my taste of course.
