Default Mud Tires in Winter

All of you guys out there with mud terrians that live in snow covered states in the winter, do you guys keep your mud terrains on or switch them out with AT's during the winter? I have 265/70/17 Cooper STTs and want to know how they are going to be in the winter here in Wisconsin. Should I get them sipped?

I'm running Federal Couragia M/T's. And the small amount of snow/ice mix we've had. Mine pulled really well in it. Didnt use 4wd at all. They should be fine, but remember icey conditions are bad for any tire.
