Default mud tires

ok, i am in the process of getting some new tires for my truck and was wondering what tires would be a good purchase. i would like to get some mud tires but preferably not bfg. i think too many people have them and personally would like to try a different brand. at first i was looking at some maxxis buckshots but where i am from i do not have alot of access to alot of tire brands. then again i was looking at the discovery stt's and heard they are good tires, light , and perform well in the mud and trails. any suggestions or input? thanx

nittos are great mud terrains, and they look good, but they cost $1800 and last 40,000 miles at the most.

personally, i wouldn't recommend them unless you have that kind of money to throw around.

look at the cooper m/t. they look good and aren't very expensive.

i got pinnacle m/t's for my truck. off brand, never heard of them before and ive never seen them on any other truck, but i got 285/70/17's for $800 out the door. do alright in the mud, but its more of an aggressive all terrain.
