Question mud flaps

I just bought a 2001 F150 and its my first truck
I want to put mud flaps on it. Does anyone know what size my truck will take? Are there different sizes? Any suggestions/tips/advice will be helpful. Thank you

mud flaps are useless basically its to keep sand and road grime that will get on the truck anyways not to mention they look stupid unless of course they are on a tractor trailer

That is not really true, I will be pulling my drag car with my truck so I am thinking of putting a set on. In Europe they are known as stone guards, they are not meant for the dirt they are meant to keep rocks from hitting your paint, something on your trailer, or someone behind you.

Just my 2 cents...
