Ah so you put it in the toolbox so they don't keep swarmin the truck. I gotchya.

Can't tell me the sprinkler idea isn't as good or better than your idea..."Set it and forget it".
How much work is there involved to turn your wrist a little bit to get all angles?

Do it and let us know how it works. Would take like 3 minutes to tell if it's better than a regular sprayer.

Don't know if you've thought of it (didn't read), but I would put a cap on the end so it keeps the pressure higher. Drill a hole in the cap if you like, same size as the other holes.

Install more chains underneath to collect mud. Then drive down the road, throw the lever to lower the chains and it will all shake off

Or just drive through a pond. Be sure to go all the way under though so it gets ALL the mud off. Dont want to half *** it...

Do they not have car washes where ever you are mudder? Try going to one, they have this awesome thing called a wand, it shoots out high pressure water out of a nossle on the end of a long stick. And there is even a bend in it, so you can put it under your vehicle and shoot water up. Best part is, IT ONLY COSTS A DOLLAR. For a whole minute. And that's Canadian prices, so it's probably only like 87 cents there. Also, your anti mud chains look ridiculous. Definitely.

Haha gotta love tackle. It would be a waste cause you would have to drive front and back over and over to get everything. Just hit up an undercarriage wash after a mud run. Way way more efficient and depending on where you go you can get additives to prevent rust.

In the op's defense I just got done at the car wash and the wand they have isn't very flexible and I couldn't get into every spot I wanted his idea actually sounds pretty good to me but instead of a bunch of holes take the pvc throw a 90° bend on it with a cap and a small hole that'd help get in there
