MPG reader
The cheapest and easiest way is to fill your tank, drive it 30 miles or so as nicely as you can and then fill your tank again. Then take however many miles you drive and divide it from how many gallons you put into your tank. That will give you your MPG's for the 3o miles or so that you drive. This wont tell you what you are getting as you drive but its better than spending 400 on a programmer. I spent $160 and got my Edge from a buddy. It is nice to adjust your driving to an electronic read out but you can get better fuel mileage if you have a manual just shift around 2K RPMs and if you have an automatic just ease on the gas taking off so that it shofts around 2k rpms. Also if you let off of the gas sooner to stop instead of slamming on the brakes it will help fuel mileage. Anyways, sorry for the speech, long story short, if you want to save money just buy a calculator or use one on your phone to figure fuel mileage.
