Is your odometer adjusted for tires? I know mine is off. If I travel a known 5 mile trek, my odometer will read 4.5 miles. Something to check on.

I don't know about less drivability issues with fuel injection. More fuel efficient is about all. And for that you have a thousand things to can go wrong. It takes a lot of stuff to make them work and that means a lot of stuff to go wrong and cost money to fix. You read the codes and still have to figure it out from there. What goes wrong with a carb that a cheap rebuild can't fix. If you pull in dense air on the intake stroke and have to add more fuel to get the correct fuel air ratio the you make more power on the compression stroke therfore you need less pedal to accomplish the same thing.
