Default more power?

I have a 2003 f-150 4x4 with 38,000 miles on it, a 4.6L 5 speed transmission. I took the factory 255/70-16 and put 265/75-16 on it to give it a better look as well as fill the inside of the fenders a little better, with mickey thompson wheels. It really took away some of my power which I did expect it to do so, just not so much of it. Is there anyone that has done this and found a way to get some of there power back. Not a lot of power, just to get back some that I lost. I do have a k&n air filter and a magnaflo exhaust on it but still didn't do a lot for it.

I have a superchip Cortez with a 91 octane performance tune, it allows you to custom change the tire size (33's) I noticed more power from it, I also have a K&N system

Put a tuner on it and gain about 23 HP and some torque.
Aside from that remember these trucks are not designed to be hot rods!
The 4.6 is a nice, quiet and reliable engine.
The stock tire size will be the best for performance and mileage.

+1 for posting pics. I'm running 265/70-16 I'd like to see the difference.

I am on 35's, no engine mods, no nothing, and I still spin tires from a dead stop on my '97 F-150 4.6L lol.

I somehow doubt this. Unless your 35s are racing slicks now haha

Any truck can spin the tires. It's just a matter of for how long, and how nice do you want to be to your transmission. My 4.2 with 3.08 gears can spin my 33's for like maybe 2 seconds. But that involved reving it right up and dropping the clutch hard.

Spinning tires isn't a good judge of power. Heck, I don't even know if my truck can spin my tires. I don't abuse my vehicles.
