I am thinking the flaps on each side of the radiator (where @artsr2002 posted), or maybe underneath the radiator, but not sure how big these are.

Yeah, but what do you do when you can't find the sheet of paper. LOL.
You go to the video tape.

I found a photo, sort of, where they go.

But still can’t figure out where they actually clip in, and my new radiator core support has all the same holes as the original. .

My brain just doesn’t run right upside down looking backwards under the truck!

Since I’ve had a lot of time on the couch, I found a photo of where they go, I even highlighted them.

Guess I actually need someone one to show me how to search and retrieve photos on my phone. 🙄

Sometimes those air deflectors get so cracked and broken up, you cannot easily reinstall them
I have thrown a bunch of them out
Damn sure would not tear the truck back apart to put them back in there unless you lived in / near Pheonix or Vegas, and even then, I would wait for a potential overheat condition

Correct - wouldn't worry about it in Maine unless your going to be towing stuff.

Personally I'd replace them or make another set. Doubt you could find them new. Attempt to keep the trucks originality anyway ...vs being a hack

My truck is back together, running strong and passed inspection no problem now that radiator core is replaced.

As a bonus rat race, at the same time I was doing my truck, I was running to the coast weekends to get my boat ready for crab season, as I plan to leave it on the mooring when I’m not there I wanted to replace the flotation foam under the deck.

Both projects done!
