More HP?
Hello, I'm new to this forum,and am not very mechanical savvy. I have a 2000 F150 4x2, with 112k miles, ext cab,auto trans,3.55 gear (8.8 axle) , 4.6 V8.
This coming up Saturday I'm having my 3.55 ring and pinion swapped out for a 4.10 ring and pinion.
The only thing that I have done to my truck performance related is have true dual exhaust done along with Borla Pro XS Mufflers installed.
What can I do as low budget as possible to gain at minimum 40-50 hp,of course along with additional torque as well.
I will say that I do tow a utility trailer approx 3-4 day per week in town, and the max load weight including trailer is approx 1,700 lbs.
I would be grateful for your insight!

Nothing much you can do without major money and work to gain 50 hp out our trucks. You switching to 410 will give you more seat of the pants feel than most things you can do to a 4.6, short of supercharging. Try the 410's before trying to add something that really isn't easy to accomplish in our trucks.
It sure would be nice if you would be more detailed regarding the "engine stuff". I doubt your an engine builder,or you would have been more detailed,or maybe you are an engine builder with not much to say.
