Can you take mirror caps off your truck?

 

yes i just did this yesterday when i put my new mirror on. take a screwdriver and inside the mirror are four clips. you'll have to move the glass itself around to get to them all in there just pop them up and the cap will pull off.

 

what kinda mirrors you put on it

 

just a factory power mirror. the last owner hit a tree branch and took the drivers side clean off.
