Do our trucks have catalyic converters in the middle of the exhaust system that can be replaced by an off-road mid pipe like an x pipe? my buddy has a cobra with a 4.6 and I realize it's a completely different 4.6 but he got really good gains from this upgrade and I thought it might give reasonable gains on my 4.6 if it was an option.

 

I've only seen off road y pipes sold online but u can make your own h or h

 

are they effective though on our trucks?

 

I h-piped my true duals and while I did feel it "smoothed" out the truck, I also felt it choked its power down a bit
