So my buddy showed up give me a hand and hooked up my new solenoid wrong on the fire wall so now my truck keeps tryin to turn over like the starter is just on with its own 12 v wtf happend did it fry the new starter or maybe short out a wire somewere in the harness . This shoulda been a quick change and is now a bigger issue

you did put the wires in the correct position on the solenoid now, didn't you?
You could have messed up the solinoid when you hooked it up wrong though.

 

Ya everything got hooked up correctly but I don't no May have done more damage than I think
