So my 4x4 switch is broken, and the motor is taken out so it doesn't blow up, i was wondering how to switch it from 2h to 4h what it looks like is a triangle shaped bar coming out of something that is marked 2h 4h 4l in a circle, do you just grab onto that with some pliers and twist to the 4h?

Why not just fix your truck instead of half assing it!?

 

The motor, because the switch is messed up, it could send some currents or something, just being on the safe side. sorry i don't have $100 to spend right away when something goes on my truck. Im just tryin to be on the safe side.

 

Im talking about the 4x4 motor just so you know...hahah

 

yeah I dont know the right linkage to pull but yeah you can manually shift it. I dont know it would hurt anything.

 

U can do that I hve done it when my motor went bad and I was stuck riden in 4 low.... Just use pliers and twist have someone in the truck in neutral and the truck has to roll a lil to make it turn easier. But I wouldn't recommend doing it alot. I only did it in a emergency situation! Lol
