Mal Functioning Power Windows
The passenger power window on my 97 F150 stopped working so I had it replaced by a repair shop. The mechanic used a new OEM power window motor. SInce then I still have problems with the power window. I may try numerous times and the window won't go down then one day it will. I have had it down and it not go up. Because of this behavior it cant be a fuse or switch. When i do stroke the window up or down I do notice its travel is not as fast as the other window. Any ideas?
Thanks, Doug

By chance does it do this if you use the passenger power switch? Or does it do it with both switches in both doors? This happened with my moms explorer. She was telling me about how she was going to have to replace the window regulator again until I got playing with the switches. Turned out the driver switch cluster went bad on just the switch to the back window.
Just a suggestion. With electric it could be anything, as the window regulator you had replaced might have been a deffective one.
