Default magic touch for installing headlight enclosures

who's got the magic touch for installing headlight enclosures? what is the secret for getting the adjustment screws lined up (blind) and not breaking them? I am swapping out a two piece enclosure with an all-in-one. it's challenging to say the least.

If it were a 2 piece I'd say just remove the grille surround but that's not an option because the turn signal goes over top of it. If you remove the fan shroud/cover you may be able to see down into where they line up. I've broken one of those adjusters before because I couldn't see so I get where you're coming from.

The solution is your case is to return those POS one-piece units (sorry), and buy a set of Harley/Lightning repros like
THESE THESE
The better ones I've found are made in Taiwan rather than China, so I'd ask the seller for point of origin before buying.

I installed a set of one piece lights many years ago, much more of a PITA than regular lights. Best advice I have is to make sure the metal sliders are up so that the adjusters aren't hitting them, and aim those adjusters for the big hole as good as you can.
