All that time I think was lack of power and acceleration.
So you bought an old truck in good shape. How many miles on the engine?

You drove it for half a year. How many miles?

Then it started overheating after fixing the transmission. And you think that it has always been low on power since you bought it? So it has never really run right?

Could be many things. What size truck is it? Super Crew, XL, 4WD...? Maybe the 4.6 isn't much for the size of the truck. Manual transmission or automatic?

That is a lot of miles. Engines will make as much power as they can for the amount of air that is let in. Make sure that the air path, from the inlet through the air filter and through the throttle body is clear. Make sure that the throttle blade is opening all the way. But, an old engine just might not be able to use the air that is let in.

There are some basic diagnostics you can do for old engines to see if they're worn out, like measuring cylinder pressures. The experienced Ford guys will know more about a 300K+ mile 4.6. Good luck.

That could be a fuel supply problem. The +23 means that the computer is opening the injectors 23% longer than expected. (Edit - based on the MAF and O2 sensor readings).

I don't know what the fuel pressure specification is for a 1997 4.6. You said that you saw 40 psi while driving. Maybe Steve83 knows. He knows high mileage also. @Steve83 J/Brew probably knows too. No offense to everyone else. @Jbrew

"I change fuel filter checked fuel pressure idle 32psi when I drive 40psi "

Is fuel trim high both banks, or just one?

Did you check compression?

Is intake and exhaust in OEM condition?

Hi again . Yesterday I cleaned my fuel injectors and was really clogged with some black things inside. I cleaned all 8 but honestly I don’t when previous owner changed. They looks old. I cleaned with carb cleaner. I notice little power and acceleration which is good. But I’m sure still missing power and acceleration. Guys is possible exhaust muffler clogged???
fuel injectors was really dirty one was totally clogged .
