i didnt really either, but it kinda grew on me. it definitely gets some attention.
it's actually silver, so i got a silver pin stripe that im going to have put down on the black hood & grille i have. just have to wait for a nice day for the guy to do it.
best time was 13.2. i want to go again & take off the hard bed cover & try lowering the rear psi to about 18-20. other guys have said they had better times with lower psi. i ran about 22 when i went.
hey brandon, the ones i have are the same shape. but since there is a separate high beam, i did have to cut a little bit of the header panel for the bulb to sit all the way back. just used the dremel & viola. it is nice now that the lights come with a wiring harness. when i bought the set for my 97 scab, i had to have a harness made. i have HID's installed on the 97 scab. i have a set for the lightning, but just havent installed them yet. let me know if you have any other questions or if i can help you out in anyway.

13.2 is sweet what mph? i want to take my truck i was tellin someone and they laghed and said 15.6 at 89mph. but itd still be fun. and weds is test and tune 20 bucks as many passes as you want at my local drag strip so why not?
i really like the all black with the sivler stripe better.
looks good cant wait to you do some mods like a smaller supercharger pulley and what not these things fly

Jay, you know the little part that screws on to the back of the panel in order to hold the bulbs in place? Thats the part I am talking about. Do you remember if the part that came with the black headlights fit with the HID's?

brandon, if your talking about the plastic thing that screws around the bulb...if so, then yes, the headlights i have to come with those. but if you just need them, i have an extra set (i think) in my garage. i have HID's in my 97, but i bought the wrong bulb size, so i had to modify them to work. i have another set that im going to put in my lightning, that is the correct size, im going to try to put them in tomorrow, so ill let you know how that goes.
