Default Lower valence replacement

I have a 2001 Lariat 4x2, and I want to replace the lower valence panel with a 4x4 panel with fog lights and towhooks. Are they compatible? I know the fog lights can be wired in, but is there a place on the frame to add towhooks? Also, it looks like there are brakets holding the panel on instead of bolts. Are any special tools needed to remove/replace the panel?

Just unbolt it. There's spring nuts clipped to the valence and there should be bolts going through the metal part holding it up. There's a bunch of em across there and some are a pain to get to.

For tow hooks your best bet is pull some off a junker so you get the hooks, bolts, and threaded bar inside the frame

I wanted to add some tow hooks, but my 4x2 has no holes along the frame to mount the hooks. you might check that before get some...
