Default Lost on this one

I tried searching but can't find an answer. So my heater core just suddenly started leaking the other day. It wasn't coming out inside the cab or at the quick connects but was draining from drain lines in the firewall and letting a strong coolant smell in the cab. Ac works great still. Today a blew out the heater core to make sure it would stop slowly leaking and get rid of the smell and when I did that a milky white coolant came out. The other day when I looped the heater lines out of the block bright green coolant came out and my oil is still nice. So I guess my question what would cause it to come out milky but the rest is still good?
