Hey everyone new here on the forum... I was just wondering if maybe this forum could help me track down my dad's old F150 it was a 2002 XLT with the 5.4 L V8 a lot of sentimental value in that truck.
Traded into NYE FORD dealership in Oneida,NY:
Toreador Red (not the bright red and not the maroon the middle color)
may be a screwdriver hole in the center console
6.5 ft bed... didn't have bed liner when we owned it
XLT Package
4x4 shifter was on the floor(not the dial)
5.4L V8
Automatic Transmission
Lund Bug shield
mud flaps
tonneau cover
extended cab
Captains Chairs
VIN starts with 2FTRX18L22...
I have the full VIN if anyone has any leads or thinks they may own it.

Not to burst your bubble but that's a one a MILLION chance of it even being around much less a member recognizing it.

When was it traded in? Recently? Years ago?

 

Contact the dealer, they may release the info but prob not, they're prob not aloud to give out persons info like that

 

You have the VIN run a carfax on it and that will at least tell you the last place it was registered. Narrow your search a little. Good Luck!!

That's how I found who the previous owner of my 06 GT was as I wanted to know if he had changed the gear ratio in it or not.

 

Do you have any pictures of it?

I was pretty sure that I saw it at Walmart last night until you mentioned it was an automatic transmission

 

those are some common options and add ons for any truck, and that vin sequence is liable to be identical to countless trucks even with it being canadian built

I know it's a one in a million chance, but like i said it's got a lot of sentimental value. Some good old memories of me and my dad making runs to the madison county landfill on Saturday's etc. i've posted a few ads on craigslist and plan on pulling a car fax i just figured i would put up an ad on here i mean a lot of these are common options, but I'm pretty sure i gave quite an elaborate list. It is like looking for a needle in a haystack so I'm putting it up everywhere to better my odds... I don't expect to find it very easily so trust me no one is bursting my bubble by telling me it can't be done figure ill give it a shot... and a forum dedicated to F150s and there owners doesn't seem to me like a bad place to look. Only traded in 2 years ago. Thanks for any looking that anyone actually has done on my behalf more than i could ever expect from anyone else.
