I don't like the idea of making my own lift kit, but I am a wood guy, not a metal guy. To me, body lifts are cheap as it is, I would just get the kit so you know you have some sort of warranty and you wont have to worry if that weld was good enough, or if you used the right metal, and that big headache.

Pffft. Previous owner would have probably been able to make better lift blocks out of legos for my truck.. factory block and the bitch still broke.

Step 1. Go to local hockey rink, take hockey pucks.

Step 2. Drill holes in said hockey pucks, install body lift

Step 3. Go to kitchen. Remove 4 metal forks.
Install bumper relocation brackets (JB Weld recommended)

I have seen people on YouTube really do the hockey puck lift but forks? Never seen that lol
