anyone where this bug deflector might have come from?

Looks like a Lund/Auto Vent Shade (AVS).
There are a few bug/rock deflector manufacturing companies with similar designs.

I'm guessing one of the trucks isn't yours? Have you approached the owner and asked?
The mfg mark is usually stamped to the under hood section that attaches it to the hood.

That's odd. Usually it's stamped/moulded into the plastic.

All I can suggest is web searching bug/stone deflectors from Lund/Auto Ventshade, Weathertech, Stampede Products or EGRUSA and see what you can match up.

Those are the manufacturers that come up in a bug/stone deflector web search.
